9/20/19 Four students from our lab attended and presented their research in this year's CNSM Research Symposium. Tiffany, Ben, and George presented their summer research from our lab. Angela gave a poster presentation based on her REU research at WPI.
7/20/19 Our lab participated the Science & Math Open House Featuring Sharks @ the Beach outreach event! Our lab contributed two activities: pH testing on household items and looking for Mr. Spiky (magnetic nanoparticles). Undergraduate students (Ben and George) and graduate student (Kristi) were on hand help to guide kids through activities and answer their questions.
6/3/19 Two new students are joining our lab this summer: Tiffany Nguyen (BUILD Scholar) and George Alfarhat. Welcome! Angela was accepted to the REU program at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI)! Trenton will spend his summer doing research at UCI! The summer is off to a good start.

3/31/ - 4/4/19 Three lab members attended and presented in the 257th ACS national meeting in Orlando! Angela gave an oral presentation on "Surface-supportive Fe-MIL88B thin films for drug delivery." Mark and Kristi presented their own posters, "Aggregative growth mechanisms of zeolitic imidazolate framework-8" and "Semiconducting Langmuir-Blodgett films of porphyrin paddle-wheel frameworks for photoelectric conversion." Both posters were selected into Sci-Mix!
